| These conditions apply to all bookings made with Les Cerisiers. |
| 1) The properties known as, Les Cerisiers,
The Old Stable or Lavender House are offered for holiday rental subject
to confirmation by the Owners to the Client. 2) The person named in the booking form ("the Client") must be 18 years old or over and must abide by the following conditions and will ensure that all members of his/her party also abide by the conditions. 3) To reserve either property, the Client should complete and sign the booking form and return it, together with the payment of the non-refundable deposit. Following receipt of the booking form and deposit, the Owner will send written confirmation as formal acceptance of the booking. 4) The balance of the rent together with security deposit (see Clause 5) is payable not less than eight weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the Owner reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of the booking. 5) A security deposit of £200 is required in case of damage to the property and/or its contents. A cheque for £200 will be posted by the Owner within 14 days less any extras, damage or breakage costs, should they occur. 6) Subject to clauses 3 and 4 above, in the event of a cancellation over 56 days (eight weeks) before the start of the rental period, refunds will be made if the Owners are able to re-let. In the event of a cancellation less than 56 days before the start of the rental period then full payment is due, unless the Owners are able to re-let at the last minute. 7) The Client is strongly advised to arrange a fully comprehensive travel insurance policy, including cover for personal liability, cancellation costs and loss or damage to property. The owner shall not be bound for a liabilty arising from the actions of the Client and party members. 8) Occupancy begins from 4pm on the arrival date and ends at 10am or earlier on the departure date unless alternative arrangements have been agreed between the Owner and the Client. 9) The number of people may not exceed that given on the booking form. 10) The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant, to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. Although a final clean is included in the rental, the Owner reserves the right to deduct from the security deposit to cover the cost of any excessive cleaning. 11) The Owner reserves the right to terminate a rental immediately, without compensation where a Client causes nuisance of whatever nature to neighbours or to the property. 12) The Client and party acquire no rights whatsoever over the property excepting occupation as a holiday let for the period booked. The Client shall not sub-let the property. 13) The Client shall report to the Owners any defects to the property or any breakages to the equipment on the property, without delay so that repairs or replacements can be arranged by the Owners. 14) The Owner shall not be liable to the Client: For any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant machinery or appliance to the property, garden or swimming pool. For any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or any other matters beyond the control of the Owner. If at any time, due to circumstances beyond the control of the Owner, the property becomes unavailable or unfit for habitation either before or during the rental period, all monies will be refunded in full. 15) The use of accommodation, the gym and other amenities on the property is entirely at the User's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury to the Client or visitor and loss or damage to the Client's or visitor's belongings. 16) No responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage to any motor vehicle or its contents. 17) Out of consideration to all our guests the Owners do not allow pets on the property. 18) Out of consideration to all our guests the Owners do not allow smoking in the property although those wishing to do so may smoke outside where ashtrays are provided. |
